If an auction is a “spectacle”, we had a spectacular one! It was a wonderful day of fun! The steaks were amazing … the music was great … the building tours were encouraging … and the people were awesome! Special thanks to TerAvest Auctioneering who made everyone feel great about buying/giving. Special pies sold for $70 each. A jar of homemade pickles hit $110. Electronics, flowers, tools, baked goods, and hand-crafts rounded-out quite an auction.

The highlight was when friends were given the chance to “buy” (give) scholarships for summer campers. Some sponsored whole cabins, others sponsored single campers, while others gave other amounts - over $26,000 was designated for scholarships! What a blessings! Once again, we were in awe as we read the total tally for the event…$50,777. We are thankful for everyone who gave items, attended, and participated in the auction. Keep next year in mind.
