Welcome to Camp Beechpoint!
A big thanks to everyone who volunteered at this year’s Rake ‘n Rock. It was a great success - we moved A TON of leaves into the woods!

We had excellent fall weather for raking.

Everyone jumped in to help!

Summer staff, teen Leaders in Training, kids in our Partners in Discipleship, and a local church youth group helped with the piles and piles of leaves.

All the leaves were drug from around campus into the woodline.

After lunch, volunteers participated in bikes, the zip line, and rock climbing.

OTHER NEWS: Construction on the new dining hall continues to progress. Praise God for the many volunteers who are currently helping with the deck. Pray for the remaining funds necessary for completion.

Come to work, stay to play!
It is time once again for our annual fall clean-up day! Bring your family, your friends, or your church group for this great volunteer event. After the work is done stay for lunch, door prizes provided by Way.Fm, use the rock climbing wall and enjoy other weather appropriate camp activities !

Beechpoint celebrated it’s 50th anniversary this past Saturday, October 10th, with an afternoon alumni event and an evening banquet. Over 300 guests joined us to celebrate all that God has done over the past 50 years … and to look expectantly toward the future. Speakers from many decades shared how Beechpoint has impacted lives over the years. The keynote speaker, Dr. Melvin Banks, challenged listeners to engage with children’s ministry as an investment in the future. It was an evening of encouragement as we remembered all that God has done at Camp Beechpoint!

Shirley Davidhizar, Betsy Davidhizar, and Marissa Smith. Just looking at this picture makes you feel like you are at camp! A special round of applause for the evening’s culinary team - the meal was great!

Classic decorations created an atmosphere of elegance.

This summer camp was thriving with the image and blessings of God! Our summer staff created a culture of energy, unity and love, through their commitment to scripture and submission to the Holy Spirit, which was contagious and inspiring. God used this amazing community environment to show His Kingdom to 811 children and bring 120 of them into the family of God for the first time! At least 66 kids recommitted to following Jesus with their lives and many expressed interest in our mentoring programs. Also, over 70 teenage volunteers got a taste of service ministry through our Leaders in Training program. Some have been campers, some want to be summer staff, but all of them saw Jesus at work in the lives of the campers and, for many, in their own hearts. Please pray that these “mountain top” experiences will inspire them to enact change and live out the way of Jesus in their local communities.
Enjoy these snapshots of our summer!

We had an AMAZING staff this summer! Pray with us that they will ALL be able to stay involved in the future. Special thanks to Grant and Jess who were not able to make this picture!
Horseback riding provides a new experience and great lessons about control and trust.
Diversity is a core value at Camp Beechpoint. Children from totally different cultures, family structures, and even faith backgrounds have the opportunity to celebrate their differences and unite on the common ground of Jesus’ love and Biblical truth.
Work is play at camp! Learning how to be a team with people from all different walks of life is a beautiful part of camp.
…
Stay tuned for up-coming events!
